Intro: Stax, Flex, and Nano X have each had multiple firmware/system point releases recently, focused on connection stability, UI responsiveness, and log consistency. This note covers the shared changes and the precautions, so you can decide whether to update soon.
Shared changes: All models tuned Bluetooth handshake and power-management policies, reducing pairing pauses under low battery or interference; error codes and prompt text are more consistent for easier triage.
Per-model differences: Stax emphasised touch and display refresh; Flex focused on app launch and log interaction; Nano X hardened Bluetooth retries and USB cooperation. Update cadence can differ slightly per model.
Compatibility: Third-party tool adaptation may lag; prefer the latest Ledger Live for critical operations, and keep desktop and mobile versions in sync to avoid repeated connection prompts.
Known issues: Intermittent drops can still occur with crowded Bluetooth environments or legacy USB drivers. Export diagnostics from the app after upgrade. For touch or connection wobble in very cold environments, bring the device to room temperature before retrying.
Safety reminder: We will never ask for your recovery phrase, PIN, verification codes, or private keys. Anyone requesting them is attempting fraud — do not share and do not proceed.
